In In level 2, you will learn the different tools added to a price chart, making the analysis of the market’s story much more powerful. We define the three major trends in the marketplace: the uptrend, downtrend and sideways market are paramount to gaining comfort with participation in stocks or any security. You will also learn about the following indicators: Volume, Moving Averages and Gaps in the market.

Volume is the number of shares or contracts traded in a security or an entire market during a given period of time. Why is volume so important in our security’s analysis? Volume equals interest! Vantana teaches you how we measure the level of interest in a stock. Moving averages are used for numerous reasons. You will learn to use specific moving averages to gauge the speed with which the stock has been rising or falling, as well as when the price of stock is way above average or below average. Gaps in the market can often be quite puzzling to the average market participant. A trading gap, defined by Vantana, is a difference between one period’s closing price and the next period’s opening price. There are many questions to be answered in this portion of education: What are the causes and effects of these gaps on the marketplace? Can market players take advantage of these gaps in the marketplace? These and many more questions are answered at this level of education.

By the end of the level 2 class, you will have all the tools necessary, not only to read the market place, but act in it as well! Learning the actual technique of trading is covered in much greater detail at the third level of the performance trader series.

FROM THE NORTH: Take 95 towards the George Washington Bridge, exit before George Washington Bridge at Henry Hudson Parkway South, which turns into the West Side Highway. Exit the West Side Highway at Liberty Street. Turn left onto Liberty Street. Make a right onto William Street Bull Run Restaurant is on the right. Bull Run Conference Center is located on the second floor of the Club Quarters Hotel attached to Bull Run Restaurant.

FROM THE SOUTH: Take the New Jersey Turnpike (95 North) to exit for Route 78. The toll price depends on where you entered the turnpike. Take Route 78 to the Holland Tunnel. Upon exiting the tunnel follow signs towards \\\\\\\\"DOWNTOWN\\\\\\\\". Turn left on Liberty Street (now heading East). Turn right on Broadway. Make a left onto Exchange Place. Make a left onto William Street. Bull Run Conference Center is located on the second floor of the Club Quarters Hotel attached to Bull Run Restaurant.
